Alex joined The Search in May 2022 after a successful 9-year career in merchandising. She wanted to take the leap to do something completely different, she was hungry for a new challenge in a more people-facing role, and is really excited to learn all about the world of People, Talent and Culture! Alex will be placing People Partners, People Operations specialists and Heads of People. When she’s not working, you’ll find her in the gym!! We are so excited that Alex chose to begin her journey with The Search and we can't wait to see what she achieves!


Daisy Ferreira,

Daisy is the backbone of The Search, managing all our Operations, Social Media, Marketing, Sourcing, Candidate Experience, Scheduling and Admin. (We like to keep her busy!!) After doing a degree in Journalism, she worked as a PA and also hosts her own lifestyle podcast around Gender, Racism, Sexuality, Inclusion, Wellbeing, and Mental Health. She is also a radio presenter on B-Radio on a Sunday from 1-4pm!


Penny Daniels, Founder

Penny has worked in HR / People Recruitment for nearly a decade, starting at FTSE250 firm Hays, before moving into Executive Search and working for specialist boutiques in London. Sat within more traditional businesses, she made a name for herself placing forward-thinking People & Talent leaders into fast-growth Tech companies, and finally launched The Search in 2021, with a more dedicated focus on finding really innovative People professionals. When not working, Penny spends her time with her two young children, Ziggy and Pixie, and her dog Sausage.

Hannah leads on all Talent hiring at The Search. Hannah started her career in Finance recruitment, at Handle, where she spent 7 years and was one of their consistently highest performers. After having her two children, she started contracting for a Fintech start-up as an internal recruiter, where she ended up hiring a number of Talent Acquisition Leaders and found that she had a real passion for it! Hannah is committed to finding the BEST Talent Acquisition professionals in what is an extremely crowded and average market.
